Having initially gained corporate experience at SAP, Linh switched to the world of startups in 2015. This led to working for startups including Bileto, Go Real Travel and Futuretics. In 2017, Linh worked at Bohemia Venture Capital as an analyst before joining TopMonks as Head of Startup Studio in 2018. Linh received his MBA from NTNU, Taiwan and a Masters from KDI School, South Korea.

Ngoc-Thanh Dinh is currently an assistant professor with the Department of IT Convergence, Soongsil University, Seoul, South Korea. He also serves as an associate editor of IEEE Access. He worked as a visiting scientist at Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, MIT, MA, the USA in 2019. He was a PhD candidate at the School of Computer Science and IT, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia where he received the full scholarship of the university and a top-up scholarship from National ICT Australia for exceptional PhD candidates. In 2020, He luckily awarded the TOP 10 Outstanding Vietnamese Young Faces from the Vietnam Prime Minister and the Golden Globe Award for Tech Excellence from the Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. In the same year, he received the Honorary Citizen Award from Seoul Government, South Korea. He also serves as an associate editor of IEEE Access Journal and as a TPC member for leading conferences and as a reviewer for top-tier journals... His current research interests include the Internet of Things and Cloud computing, 5G-6G networking, next-generation networks, ICT convergence and blockchain. Besides academia, he also serves as an advisor/ ambassador for several technology venture capitals and educational organizations.

Giang is an entrepreneur and investor with over 25 years of business building experience including 15 years investing in Vietnam. He is currently Managing Director of the RDA VIETNAM FUND, a Vietnam focused investment fund with offices in Boston and Ho Chi Minh City. He is also co-founder of INNOVATIVE PHARMACEUTICAL PARTNERS, a contract research organization based in Hanoi. Prior to RDA, Giang was co-founder and Managing Director of the EMA VIETNAM FUND. He was also the Vietnam Portfolio Manager of the EMA GARP FUND.

Prior to managing investments in Vietnam, Giang was a successful entrepreneur having co-founded several high-growth companies including Cambridge Energy Solutions and JungleSoft. For a number of years, he has been an investor, advisor and mentor to early stage companies as a member of the Launchpad Venture Group. 

Giang is passionate about entrepreneurship education and was a co-founder of the MITFive Entrepreneurship Program in Vietnam. He translated Bill Aulet’s book, Disciplined Entrepreneurship, to Vietnamese and has helped to develop the entrepreneurship curriculum for Vin University and Vietnam National University. He actively supports Vietnamese entrepreneurs.

Phuc has strong experience in start-ups and corporate finance and banking. He is currently the Senior Program Manager of VIISA. He is the former Program Manager of Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF), the first and only non-profit startup-supporting organization in Vietnam. Besides, he is also an advisor for many startup projects. He has contributed to the success of many startups of VIISA, SVF, and to the won of many startups in Vietnam startup competitions. Before that, Mr. Phuc worked at large and reputable financial institutions (HSBC Vietnam, Standard Chartered Vietnam, ACB).

As an entrepreneur with 20 years of running businesses and organizing professional associations at senior positions, Quan participated and made many contributions to developing the national innovation startup ecosystem, incubating activities; a network of culinary tourism technology startups' acceleration and development; business consultancy and support; and start-ups & innovation in Vietnam for many years in the following positions:

A serial entrepreneur, an angel investor, Dr. Tran Luong Son is Founder and Managing Partner of Planet Impact Capital – PIC (established in 2020), an impact fund management company with a focus on early-stage startups in environmental protection, clean energy, and sustainable agriculture and consumption. Dr. Son is an expert in Intellectual Property protection, innovation in business and has more than 10 years in mentoring and coaching startup entrepreneurs. He has served as a judge at multiple national and international startup competitions. Dr. Son has obtained Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry in Metallurgy from National University of Steel and Alloys (Moscow, Russia), Master of Science in Management of Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management (US), attended Macro-economic course at Harvard Summer School, participated in training programs on entrepreneurship, innovation, ecommerce in Japan, Singapore, Israel, UK. In 2014, Dr. Son was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" by Shidler College of Business of the University of Hawaii, an honor award for successful entrepreneurs of Vietnam.

Le Chau Hoai Nhat is currently the CEO & Founder of Sensecom Training System, an organization with more than 20 campuses in Vietnam and Cambodia. Previously, he had 8 years of teaching and working in the International Relations Department of Quy Nhon University, Binh Dinh, Vietnam. He received a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Dalarna, Sweden. Furthermore, he is the Director of Sensecom Human Resources Co., Ltd. His research emphasizes on the labor market, particularly in trainining, connecting and providing human resources for companies in the Central and Central Highlands of Vietnam. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Binh Dinh Province, responsible for building, orienting and developing the startup movement. He is also the author of the start-up book "Adapting & Surviving" and the chairman of the jury of the Startup Ideas and Innovation Contest for years in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.

Peter Ngo obtained his Master's degree in Computer Science at Tsukuba University, Japan. He is a business and technical leader in the Information Technology outsourcing industry with 12 years of experience in working with large corporations and agile startups in the US, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. Peter has worked on all important roles in software development from software engineer to delivery manager. Prior to founding NAPA Global, Peter was a Business Unit Director at FPT, one of the leading IT companies in Asia. Khanh has been CTO / co-founder of three tech startups in Switzerland gaining millions of Swiss francs in both funding and revenue. He’s been advising a few other startups. Currently, he’s working as an Engineering Manager at TX Group in Switzerland. He’s interested in new business in any areas of tech & non-tech.

Quynh has extensive experience with many different multinational corporations before joining Viet Capital Securities to manage multiple projects including Vietnam Access Day, a 2-day event that connects leading Vietnamese firms with investors from around the world. After her time as marketing manager with Forbes Vietnam, Quynh joined The Economic and Trade Mission with the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam as Southern Business Development Manager to take care of the sustainable economic trade and financial relations between Israel and Vietnam. A native of Ho Chi Minh City, Quynh graduated from Raffle High Education College with a Bachelor in Marketing, followed by a Diploma in Communication Design from Chatsworth Mediart Academy in Singapore.

With a good background in engineering and business, Truong Thi has 13 years of experience working in information technology and digital technology industries with small and medium enterprises, multinational corporations, as well as government agencies in France and Vietnam.​

Through AVSE Global, Truong Thi always contributes to the development of French-Vietnamese diplomatic relations, especially in the high-tech sector. At the age of 24, I did startup with opening our own advertising and communication company. While running the company, I found myself have a pursuit of Social Marketing, that's why I studied a master degree in Vietnam and France in 2010. Did not stop there, with my enthusiasm, at the age of 32, I founded a Vietnamese Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in education, communication and activities for children. Up to now, I am building 20 schools for ethnic minority children in northern Vietnam - the poorest and most difficult regions. Vo Minh Ngoc holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration in the UK. Furthermore, Ngoc has 5 years of media consulting experience for World Bank, Asian Development Bank, World Wildlife Vietnam and UN Vietnam organizations. In addition, she has also worked as a Coach / advisor for many projects / organizations, including Leading Asia Change, FemaLead, UNESCO Vietnam, BIDV, Navigos Search. Before residing in Germany, she was a founder of Impactus Academy in Vietnam. Currently she is working in Germany as a Communication Specialist for the Global Research Institute.

Dr Hoang ChuDuc received PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Washington University at St. Louis, He also former Researcher in Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2003 - 2016); Dr Hoang ChuDuc has over 40 research papers, 20 conferences, 04 Books and 5 projects in Biomedical, Healthcare, ICT, Technology Management and Innovation. Quoc Tan Phan has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry at USA Logigear, KPMG Singapore, and KPMG Vietnam. Anh Tuan Pham is currently the Chief Information Officer, Director of Becamex Smart City Project Management Office, and Director of Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center at Becamex IDC Corporation. He completed his PhD in Computer Science from INRIA Sophia Antipolis and I3S, University of Cote d'Azur, France (WIMMICS Team). His professional interests include: Industry 4.0 Technologies, Digital Transformation Strategy and Implementation, Semantic Web, Ontologies, Software Architecture, Software Engineering.

Hanh Nguyen is the Founding Director of Becamex Business Incubator (BBI), where she develops a university-based business incubator in the modern campus of Eastern International University (eiu.edu.vn), Binh Duong, Vietnam, including enforcing innovation in the local business and building the network between stakeholders of the startups' ecosystem. She is also the Programme Lead for Block71 Saigon (saigon.block71.co) which is a joint partnership program between NUS Enterprise and Becamex IDC (becamex.com.vn). Besides, with her enthusiast and experience in working in the startup ecosystem of Vietnam, she inspires her students at EIU through classes of Entrepreneurship and Human Resources. Hanh was awarded her BA degree at Portland State University prior to working for Becamex IDC on various projects at Eastern International University and Becamex International Hospital. Phuong Nguyen-Tri is now regular professor at the department of chemistry, biochemistry and physics, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivieres (UQTR), Quebec, Canada. He is the founder and Head of the laboratory of advanced materials for Energy and Environment of UQTR. Recently, he has been appointed as Director of UQTR research chair in advanced materials for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). He obtained a MSc in Ecole National Superieure de Chimie de Mulhouse, France and a PhD in material sciences at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers of Paris, French in 2009. He worked then two years as a tenure track assistant professor position at Department of industrial polymers, CNAM of Paris, French. He moved then to the Department of mechanical engineering, Ecole de Technologie Supérieure (ETS), Montréal, Canada to take a researcher position at the Chair in Protective Materials and Equipment for Occupational Health and Safety and became a manager of this research chair. Dr. Nguyen-Tri worked as a research officer at the Department of Chemistry, University of Montréal, Canada, and then as an associate Professor at ETS of Montreal (2015-2019) before accepting a regular professor position at UQTR, Canada from Jun 2019. His main research interests are nanomaterials, hybrid nanoparticles, smart coatings, polymer crystallization, polymer blends, and composites. Dr. Nguyen-Tri has edited 12 books (10 from Elsevier) for which he is a leader a team of over 300 international researchers in these book projects and he is authored of 14 book chapters, 3 international patents, and published over 100 articles and conference proceeding. He served as an editor of 5 special issues in the ISI indexed journals. Dr. Nguyen-Tri is an Editor and Guest-editor for RSEM, PLoS One, SN Applied Science (Nature-Springer), Progress in Organic Coating (Elsevier), Polymers (MDPI). He is currently international grants and book (Elsevier) reviewer.

Assoc. Prof., Dr. Hong T.M. Bui received BA degrees in English at Hanoi University, and Economics at the University of Economics, Vietnam National University Hanoi. She then received scholarships to pursue her Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management at MIT Vietnam, and in Communication and Language Studies at the University of East Anglia, UK, and Ph.D. in Management at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia.
Hong is an Associate Professor in Higher Education Management at the International Centre for Higher Education Management (ICHEM) and Centre for Business, Organisations, and Society (CBOS), Division of Strategy and Organisation, School of Management, University of Bath, UK. Hong leads a Residential on Organisational Studies and Higher Education for the Doctoral of Business Administration in Higher Education Management (DBA in HEM) for higher education managers and leaders around the world. She is also a Visiting Professor at IPAG Business School, France. Before that, she worked for the University of Southampton, Bournemouth University, University of East Anglia, and Vietnam National University Hanoi.
Her research focuses on Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, particularly on Learning Organisation, Systems Thinking, and Multidisciplinary approaches to Innovation and Sustainability. She has written more than 80 publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and international conferences for the last decade. She has successfully obtained more than 30 institutional, national and international research grants and support; and substantial enterprise incomes. She has joined scientists and experts from different disciplines to work in innovation and sustainability in various developing countries in Asia, Africa, and South America.
Hong also serves in the leadership team of AVSE Global, joining various research, development, and consultancy projects. She leads the Education Network of AVSE Global.

Dr. Quy VO-REINHARD, MBA, Co-Founder & Chief Data Officer at HIT Foundation, Switzerland Quy is the Chief Data Officer and Co-Founder of HIT Foundation – a blockchain-based marketplace for healthcare data – in addition to being a globally-renowned speaker. Her life’s work is dedicated to healthcare innovations aimed at providing equal opportunities and benefits to all stakeholders. Quy took the initiative in Blockchain For Healthcare Project in Vietnam with many hospitals, City Health Departments and will help to drive the project Blockchain4Healthcare with the Ministry of Health in Vietnam.

Moreover, Quy is an AI advisor of LAPO blockchain (Switzerland) which brings stability with traditional Swiss expertise in financial services to crypto assets worldwide. She was voted ‘The Most Influential Woman in Blockchain in Europe’ ( ‘Blockshow Europe 2018’) and received various awards throughout her life, including Professional Excellence Scholarship, EBS University of Business and Law, Germany (2016); Excellent Young Lecture, Vietnam (2008); National 2nd prize for supervising a student in research, Vietnam (2007); Five Ph.D. scholarships in the UK, Spain, Canada, Italy, Germany (2006-2009); Four postdoctoral scholarships (2013-2014); 1st prize in Biology for the 12th grade (1999), etc… At the age of 25, she was the youngest Vice-Dean in the Faculty of Biology, Vietnam National University, and drove 150 staff departments as the strongest unit.

She founded Give Him The Light, an international charitable project that aims to save lives and solve problems of relevance to humanity. The fundraising went to the first case diagnostic of the baby with FEVR/NORI disease and numerous babies in need of urgent surgery in Nhi Dong Hospital in Vietnam, as well as to build the school and provide food for children in Ha Giang province. She also a member of the Board of Directors of different Vietnamese Associations globally (International Vietnamese Academics Network, Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals and Experts in Switzerland …) to promote networking, collaboration among academics professionals, researchers, and university students of Vietnam origin living in Vietnam and abroad. Recently she joins AVSE Global: AVSE – Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts in Digital technology and Knowledge city team to deliver strategy and approach for Vietnam sustainability growth in Industry 4.0.

Quy undertook her Ph.D. in Computational Biomedicine at the Rhine-Westphalian Technical University of Aachen (Germany), thereafter being a senior scientist and lecturer in Concordia University (Montreal, Canada) and Stuttgart University (Stuttgart, Germany), co-founded a start-up about enzyme innovation which got EXIST-Business Start-up funding from the German government. She earned an MBA from the EBS University of Business and Law (Germany) and being an entrepreneur after that.

Dr. Luu Vinh Toan, Information Retrieval Expert, Move Digital AG, President of Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals and Experts in Switzerland.

Dr. Toan obtained his Ph.D. in the domain of Decentralized Information Retrieval Systems from the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in 2007.

He has more than 15 years of experience in Information Extraction and Information Retrieval in several companies and startup in Switzerland where he holds search innovation lead positions. He also gave a talk at the European Apache Big Data Conference in 2015.

Before coming to Switzerland, he had several awards in National Olympiad in Informatics and selected as a Vietnamese delegation to attend the International Festival of Youth and Students.

Recently, Dr. Toan contributes actively his opinions in the domain of artificial intelligence, unstructured data processing, digital transformation to magazines of the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology. He also participated in some projects of AVSE Global like Knowledge Center, Vietnamese Abroad Resource Map, and Vietnamese Talent Survey.

Tai Nguyen-Ky received the B.E., M.B.A, and M.E. degrees from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 1991, 1999, and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), QLD., Australia, in 2011.

He received USQ international research excellence scholarship award, 2008; Dean’s Commendation Award for Graduate Research Excellence 2008; Dean’s Award for Graduate Research Excellence 2009, USQ, Australia; the award for the Best Student Paper, the fourth International Conference on Rough Sets and Knowledge Technology (RSKT2009), Gold Coast, Australia.

His research interests in biomedical engineering and agricultural engineering. He has made significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge in the areas of biomedical engineering, specifically in extending the technology for monitoring the depth of anesthesia.

He is a research fellow in the USQ Institute for Advanced Engineering and Space Sciences (IAESS). In the last three years, he has been a key member of the strategic project “Computational models to enhance food security and decision support in agriculture” funded by the USQ. He is currently developing an AI crop model to monitor, predict and control crop status in agriculture. Three main research results presented in the USQ research website.

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Quy is currently a Development Manager and Senior R&D engineer in Mitsubishi Electric in Cambridge, MA, USA. He is working on research collaboration with MIT on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Factory Automation. Previously, he was a Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer at Schlumberger Ltd. for digital transformation and process automation. He holds a doctoral degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

In addition, he is a co-founder of the VietSearch team and website for a large database collection and statistics on Vietnamese professionals and communities over the world. VietSearch is a future platform for Vietnamese people connecting and collaborating to foster Vietnam’s education and business. He was also a co-founder and president of the Vietnamese Youth Volunteer (VYV) Organization from 2006. VYV is a non-profit organization to helps difficult children in Vietnam.

Do Thanh Trung studied and graduated electrical engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. From 2007 he was a Research Associate, Chief Engineer, and lecturer at the Helmut Schmidt University and the Technical University Hamburg.

He is doctor of electrical engineering in ‘Grid Integration of Renewable Energies’ and regular consultant of german grid operators.

His doctoral thesis and research results were awarded with the Hamburg -University-Science-Prize in 2015. The results of his doctoral thesis were used scientifically and economically in many follow-up projects funded by german ministery of economics and energy (BMWi) such as network impedance measurement 110-kV, network harmony and NEW 4.0.

From 2017, he became Full-Professor and Head of the Institute for Electrical Energy Systems and Automation at TU-Hamburg.

Now he is CEO of morEnergy GmbH, a specialist in producing of innovative and noval measurement techniques for smart factory and smart grids.

Dr. Nguyen Nhat Linh is currently working as a medical officer at the Global Tuberculosis Programme, World Health Organization Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Linh graduated as a general practitioner in Vietnam and he received postgraduate clinical training in tuberculosis (TB) and lung diseases at Hanoi Medical University. He obtained a Master of Science in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, and a Ph.D. in medical epidemiology from the University of Sydney.

Dr. Linh is a TB and public health expert with more than 25 years of experience working in Vietnam and internationally. He started his career in Vietnam, working as a physician at the National Hospital for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases and an implementer of the National TB Programme. He spent 4 years conducting TB epidemiological research in Sydney, Australia for his Ph.D. He joined WHO in 2008 - firstly, as a WHO technical advisor on TB and leprosy for countries in the South Pacific region (based in Fiji Islands) - and since 2012, as a medical officer at the Global Tuberculosis Programme, WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr Linh is experienced in TB and public health research, development of global health policy and guidance, and provision of technical support to countries on the implementation of national health programmes, especially on the management of tuberculosis.
